Prologue
Hello, Griffin followers.
We are at the airport in Baltimore right now waiting for a Southwest Airlines flight to Ft. Lauderdale. When we get there we are going straight to the Griffin to get the boat ready for a dawn departure from Miami, heading north.
If you followed the Griffin Updates in the fall, you know we have an adventurous time cruising the Intra-Coastal Waterway. This trip should be even more action packed than the voyage south. We've added a few technical twists to the trip that should enhance the enjoyment of those following our trip via e-mail.

The web site includes the e-mail updates from the southbound trip, and several new exciting twists. We will have PHOTOS of the northbound trip, sent real-time from Griffin. We also have a chart of the east coast with a "Current Position" flag so you can follow our progress. We will be posting the e-mail updates in the ship's log section of the website, but as a special follower of our trip you are also on the distribution list to get the updates sent directly to you by e-mail. If you'd rather be removed from the list, just let us know.
